I am baffled. I'm trying to replace all of the scraped images for my MAME games w/ the snaps I have in my home arcade setup.

      Here's where I got my gamelist.xml:
      /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/mame-advmame

I edited it in WordPad to change all "-image.jpg" and "-image.png" to just "png".

      I uploaded some PNGs here:
      Example: /home/pi/.emulationstation/downloaded_images/mame-advmame/88games.png

This SHOULD have worked. In this example, "88games.png" is what's in the XML. The file's uploaded.

However when I restart Emulationstation and go back into MAME, it's the same originally scraped images and data.

      Any Ideas?

@Foldi84 you have to exit emulationstation before editing xmls.

So did you just scrape your Arcade library and then add your own art? I like the way NES, SNES, and Genesis scraped with the box art, but Arcade was a cluster-F. I imagine scraping Arcade just for the data and taking screen shots to use as title art would be better.
