I got my raspberry pi 3 and installed retropie on it from eta prime 4.3 version (the latest version at the time) it worked flawlessly on my crt TV but sometimes my retropie have some problem with hdmi like when I put it on my new hdmi TV the emulation Station will launch normally until the menu the menu is all glitchy where they show you the emulators are black totally black and in the bottom where they the buttons input does it will show the regular text but the buttons like a and b and start are white squares and when I have a stroke of luck and enter a game it start flickering like crazy

@jackiehanna power supply for sure. Phone chargers do not provide a stable enough current.

@jackiehanna That doesn't mean you can't buy one. Lots of vendor sell it separately or have a special bundle including it.

@jackiehanna https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-universal-power-supply/ . It also comes in black. You can't miss it, it has the raspberry on it.

I don't understand what you're trying to say.
