On boot I get the following errors:
[TIME] Timed out waiting for device dev-disk-by\2xdpartuuid-f2d3cb4f\x2d01.device

[DEPEND] Dependency failed for File System Check
      [DEPEND] Dependency failed for /boot
[DEPEND] Dependency failed for local file systems

[TIME] Timed out waiting for device dev-serial1.device

At the end, it says that i am in emergency mode and to press 'enter' to try and continue and reboot normally. However, my games then start to crash. I don't see what the issue can be here, as it works on other cards!

      Thanks!

I'd say your card or filesystem on the card is corrupted. If flashing the RetroPie image on the card doesn't solve this problems, you should get another card.
