ZXSpectrum XinMo Arcade controller
-
Hi Everyone,
I have my XinMo Arcade controller working perfectly across most consoles in ES but for the really retro one the ZX spectrum. I am more than aware due to my age that the spectrum ran off a keyboard but id love to configure it to use my XinMo so i can dispense with the keyboard when building my cabinet.
Does anyone by any chance have a copy of there config file for the ZX spectrum emulator? Or any guidance with how to edit the zxspectrum retroarch.cfg file to work with XinMo?
Thanks in advance

Speccy! This one brings back a ton of memories. A lot of zx games use a bucketload of buttons and be near impossible to map them all. That said, there are also a lot of games that are just your bog standard up, down, left, right, shoot, jump/special and that should be easy to map just like any other game.
Tricky bit is the tape loader configuration which needs to be setup and mapped to start a game if I recall. Oh wait, and there's the select input bit in every game (eg: Kensington, kbd, etc.) which are not standardized so things are pretty complicated. I never got round to it but yeah I'd be interested too if anyone can just write up a nice guide for "keyboard free" ZX Spectrum gaming on the Pi!
