I was just testing out Skyscaper (installed via opt.) on my NES files. It found Dr. Mario, but couldn't find mario, mario 2, or mario 3. Any reason why and any way to help it doing what it needs to do? If not, is there a way to add the info manually? Am I missing something?

The built in GUI scrape with THEGAMESDB found nothing.

          Super Mario Bros.zip
          Super Mario Bros 2.zip
          etc.

I'm using the default source. Update, once I did an update to retropie from the retropie-setup.sh, the built-in scaper is working. I thought an apt-get upgrade was enough, but I guess not.

@ColBojank The default source should be ScreenScraper, that supports checksums for ROM. If you ROM are non-standard, it might not find them - but you can check using another source (TheGamesDb).

I tried scraping for the ROMs you mentioned and I had no problems. For reference, here are the ROM names and their MD5 checksum:

              • Super Mario Bros. (World).zip (md5 - 2961ae52ee8dee9a9fbc7680ced1f741)
              • Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA).zip (md5 - 200edb85a698ccf5e11a0dcee0e0e771)
              • Super Mario Bros. 3 (USA).zip (md5 - 1961b6290a81c4665109951bbeb9bd55)
