So I've spent countless hours compiling my own cards for the Raspberry Pi 3 model B, on Raspian Jessie. Now that I'm moving to RPI 3B+, they'll be incompatible.

I'm wondering if there's a way to upgrade from Jessie to Stretch on the card, without losing any of the roms or files that are there. Would there be a way?

@Nicky_S14 Yes, there is, but a clean install is recommended. If you'd like to try it out, the steps are outlined in this forum post.
