Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time

      Developer(s): Konami

      Genre(s): Side-scrolling beat 'em up

      Platform(s): Super Nintendo

      No. of Players: 1-2

      First one for 2019!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time was a game released in 1994 in all regions for the Super Nintendo. (I am aware of that the game was first in arcades, this feature is for the SNES version.) There was also a version of the game released on the Mega Drive under the name Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Hyperstone Heist. All versions have differences in levels and music, among other things.

In this game, you pick one of the Ninja Turtles (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael), and fight through wave after wave of Shredders goons and occasionally, one of his henchman. Usually a villain from the TV Show or Comic Book (Baxter Stockman, Bebop and Rocksteady, etc.)

The plot of this game is simple. The Turtles and Splinter are sitting around the TV, eating pizza (what else?), when something happens. In the background, the Statue of Liberty flies away, Shredder is at hand of course. He then challenges the Turtles to come and get Lady Liberty. They take the challenge obviously. The fight goes through 10 levels, including going back to the Prehistoric Era and even the world of Tron, cough cough I-uh mean the future of course.

Lets get on with it, COWABUNGA!

How in the hell do I play the game?

This is a Super Nintendo game, so emulating it is pretty simple.

      Game of the Month Challenge

No challenge this month other than to beat the game.

Have fun, and don't take any crap from anybody.
