      @DatLegend327 Then add more info about your system, as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. Did you add something new in the autostart.sh file ?

        I also noticed it says pi@retropie... ive seen videos where it says raspberry pie instead of retropie

          @mitu i bought the kit off of Amazon, im sorry i dont know much about the raspberry. This happened after changing my password

            @DatLegend327 Sorry, we don't offer support for 3rd party images.
            Install the RetroPie's image from retropie.org.uk/download, this will give you a functioning system. Changing the password is not supposed to disable the Emulationstation start on boot.

                @DatLegend327 I would try a fresh install. Card format, write a fresh 4.4 image from this site and start again.
                The Retropie image comes with Rasbian so you are only replacing what it is preloaded with, but you will unlikely encounter any problems.
