Only 1 system - Start gamelist at bootup
-
Hello there :)
I'm completing my psx casemod and I'm facing a problem.
I've hided all other emulators from main menu: now I have only PSX Games and Retropie Setup. There's any way to automatically display the ps1 games when emulestation boot up?
It's kinda me get nervous having to see main menu (with only 2 options) and having to press A for seeing my gamelist...Can someone have some ideas?

@VFansss no clue on that but for the splash screen on my psx i ripped the hd version of the playstation boot screen off of youtube to use as my bootup splash screen. Dont rip the crappy original one thats on youtube. You have to make a 486 sd version of it though for it to work properly. The 1080 version never does the whole boot video. It gets cut off. I personally cant tell a difference between the two videos.

@VFansss also, can you show some pics? I would love to see what you did in yours.

@edmaul69 I've choosed to first setup the software and THEN buying a old ps1 to rip off cause I didn't had too much faith that a raspberry pi 2 could emulate all my favourite games (and I was partially right to have fear). Now that I have understand better how retroarch/emulestation work I'm finishing the 'software part' and then I'm going to do the hardware part.
From what I saw it's impossible to "hide" the main menu... very sad :(
Can I please see your "bootmovie"? I'm very curious :)
Also I can't decide if it's better to using original psx pad (basically impossible to find in good shape and in economy) or buy 2 Sixaxis from PS3!

@VFansss i actually use the ps1, ps2 and ps3 pads. I got my ps1 and ps2 controllers in good shape. I wired a hde ps1, ps2 usb adapter soldered to the controller port. I used this video i took off of youtube. You need to rip it to an sd video not hd. (480 but still wide screen and still looks good)
And here is the link to my pi-station 1 i did:
