      Hi All,

      I suffer with OCD hence this message how can I adjust the order in which emulator appears first, I would like to go alphabetical IE
      Atari , Commodore, FBA etc

      Is this possible

      Pi Model: 3
      RetroPie Version Used: 3.8
      Built From: SD Image
      USB Devices connected: Buffalo Joypad, Keyboard
      Controller used: Buffalo

        Deal with it we don't care about people who have OCD!!!! Nah just kidding lol, I was wondering the same. I would like to set the order based by the company; first the Nintendo emus followed by the Sega emus and then the rest. An option to do this would be great.

          In the terminal:

          1. copy the es_systems.cfg file from /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg to /home/pi/.emulationstation
            cp /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg /home/pi/.emulationstation
          2. edit /home/pi/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg with nano
            cd .emulationstation
            nano es_systems.cfg
          3. from there you can move around the emulators how you want starting with
            <system>
            </system>
            Save and exit and load up Emulationstation!

          (I think I have the directory for es_systems.cfg right but I'm half awake lol)

          I grouped mine by manufacturer and then by date...makes more sense to me at least.

            @thrussmeister if you open up /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg you can move the systems into whatever order you like. I have mine arranged by: whatever system i modded a pi in and all that manufacturers consoles, then oldest to newest but keeping manufactures system altogether. Consoles first, then arcades, then computers.
