good to see that!! let's install it on retropie from source!! :D
just to remember
retropie_setup -> Install individual emulators from binary or source -> lr-mgba -> sourceand then enable it at /opt/retropie/configs/all/gba/emulators.cfg
-
I have updated the lr-mgba binary.

@meleu said in [SOLVED] lr-picodrive isn't achieving:
Great news!!
I've installed lr-picodrive from source and now it's working 100% with achievements!!Please Lord @BuZz, update the binaries for us!
A big thank you to @cabrunco for telling me this news!
-
Wondered if someone can help. I've followed the wiki and added my details to the cfg and checked it's enabled. Now any game I launch gives me a message saying achievements are not available for this game even on ones I know are listed on retroachievements. This is for snes by the way. Should I be using a particular emu for it?
-
@addyb the RetroArch error messages aren't so precise for RetroAchievements errors. It happens to me when I have problems with my connection. Check if it is your case.
-
It's working fine today. There originally must of been a delay in me registering and it being activated for the games. I'm playing super Metroid and the achievements keep popping up.
-
@addyb don't forget to enable the hardcore mode! ;-)
-
Don't know about that mate. All these games feel like it's hardcore mode already. My skills have waned with age lol.
-
@addyb It doesn't increase the real game difficulty. The hardcore mode only disables all the save/load state features. And the RetroAchievements score will worth double.
-
Mmm megadrive achievements aren't working. Tried all the emulators.
-
@addyb works just fine in lr-picodrive. Put your cheevos info in the megadrives retroarch file:
/opt/retropie/configs/megadrive/retroarch.cfg
-
@edmaul69 it is not necessary if the megadrive
retroarch.cfg
has the#include
to the...configs/all/retroarch.cfg
and it has the cheevos' configs. -
@meleu i do this specifically for the systems that support it. If it isnt in the all file it doesnt pester you in all the other systems about the core not being supported. Plus several people have had problems with lr-gambatte and lr-picodrive and i have had no issues on any emulator running it this way.

Thanks I'll have a look later. I thought I'd put the original cheevos details in the global config file so assumed it would effect everything.

And it does effect everything. I use it this way (global config), the wiki instructs this way...
@edmaul69 is just pointing his preference. -
Tried to add retroachievements to my game. Edited my retroarch file as stated above.
Going through the RGUI I can see that achievements is enabled, my username and password is all in ok, but tried unlocking some easy achievements (like the sonic 20 ring one) and nothing is happening. No announcement, etc and nothing on my account.
When I go to quick menu - > achievements, there are no achievements to display.
Any ideas what's going wrong?
-
Strangely, I've now managed to get an achievement on Gain Ground - achievements for that are working fine.
Any other game I've tried loading has not yet displayed any achievements...
-
Having now loaded Gain Ground up again, the achievement list seems to be missing again
-
I've had a few miss-fire when my internet is getting smash or because the stars don't align properly. I generally know what the achievements are, so I save just before and if it doesn't pop, I just reload and retry. Somtimes rebooting the PI helps too.
Rush 'n Attack on NES is a good test as you get it for starting the game too
