      Pi Model: 2 B
      RetroPie Version Used: retropie-v3.8.1-rpi2_rpi3
      Built From: SD Image
      USB Devices connected: keyboard, mice
      Controller used: none

      Hi, I reactivated my Raspberry and formated my SD card with old RetroPie and installed the newest version. I run retropie_setup.sh and saw something like this - https://delightlylinux.files.wordpress.com/2016/02/rpi_setup_configoption.png and run Update RetroPie-Setup script . Now i have this menu - https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/10035308/16218285/f06f3ba8-3738-11e6-9ccc-be601172713b.png and every time when i run retropie_setup.sh I see it. Is the old menu has been replaced by a new ??? Or can i have acces to the old ? Second - Is full update with kernel etc. is safe and bringing some benefits ?? By this menu - https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/10035308/15950393/9dcccd3c-2e6b-11e6-9d42-065b3234edc1.png , or do full update without updating kernel etc. or quick install ?

            @Shiroe this may help (although it's already a little out of date!):

            RetroPie Manual Installation Guide, including the Version 4 Setup Script Revised Menu Structure

                @Shiroe you're welcome, i hope it helps!

                I ran through a RetroPie 4 rc-1 installation following the guide this afternoon; it needs a few updates, nothing critical, but I'll wait until the full version 4 release to do this.

                  No.

                  We have some posts here in the forum of users having problems after updating.

                  The wiki recomends a backup before updating.
