Bluetooth not disconnecting on reboot...

Controller used: 8BitDoHi. Question on bluetooth when restarting. When I ran Retropie 4.3, when I restarted the Pi, my 8bitdo controllers would always turn off immediately. However, when upgraded to 4.4 with all updates, about 25% of the time, the controller does not turn off until about 20 seconds or so later. The small issue this causes is that I have my bluetooth set to connect at boot, and when the controller does not shut of immediately, the controller seems to miss the connect signal during the reboot process. I simply have to turn off and back on the controller to get it to connect, but just curious on what changed in 4.4 to where the kill command (if that is what it is called) is delayed sometimes...

@jthomas5150 I noticed issues with connecting with my 8bitdo controllers with the Raspbian Stretch stack. Firmware update on them sorted it. (FC30 Pro). Also make sure you have the Bluetooth connection settings in retropie to "default". The other settings are actually workarounds.

Hi, they connect just fine when I turn it off and back on if I need to reboot my pi. I just liked the way they always turned off immediately on a reboot using retorpie 4.3. The little hack for connect on boot would reconnect my controllers every time on a reboot without me having to turn them off and on again. But with 4.4 there is some type of delay sometimes that causes them not turn turn off immediately when I reboot (therefore causing problems with the boot "hack").
I just didn't know if there was some kind of script (if that is the right term) that could help assist with the killing of the bluetooth signal when rebooting under 4.4...?
