need emulationstation to load while boot video is running

i know this has been answered but i dont know the right way to word it to get google or retropie forum search to give me the answer

@edmaul69 what do you mean?
I just put a MP4-Video in the splashscreen folder and selected it as splashscreen.
So it comes up on booting and emulationstation is loaded meanwhile in the background.
