retropie freezing whene press esc from mame games

respberry 3+b
usb mini wireless keyboard ( Riitek Rii mini H9S)
cable from Raspberry
2 heat sink
64GB scan disk
HDM cable model Dell Se2416h
ver retropie 4.4
roms mame from old mame32 pc ( alot year ago i donwload... i dont remember where is about 7.450games)
i copy /paste on mame-mame4all folder
scriptig uptate comblete
SkyScraper intallet
theme ui clasic

the problem is when in game i press Esc from mini keyboard wireless the game freezing and i cant do nothink
no f4 no select and menu both work no tap from game menu work is just freezing

any know what happen and how can i fix it?

try using a different mame emulator
first moving all of the roms to \\roms\arcade
lr-mame2010 and advmame are recommended.
for older roms maybe lr-mame2003 or 2000 and advmame1.4

the thing is I have never used mame4all, so I don't know the menu

Directly in the folder \\\roms\arcade\ <===

To change the emulator on start, press the "A" button a few times when the pop-up appears to then change the default emulator.

the UI cancel in not work now.. i change it with few deference keybinding and not work.. i cant go back to retropie menu to select a deference game now :/

I don't know. First of all, I've never used mame4all. I use advmame and lr-mame2010, using the roms/arcade/ directory to select any of the arcade emulators to use with runcommand.

There probably is a configuration to edit for mame4all, but I don't know anything about the ESC menu or why it would freeze.

If the navigation key binds get misappropriated, then a solution would probably be finding then editing or deleting the bindings manually, using the terminal. There may be other ways to reset default binds dependent on the emulator and configs.
