      Hello everyone,

I've been using MAME for a long time now, but a few games don't work right - notably Star Wars and Battlezone. It was suggested that these might work better in FBA. I'd like to try it, but I can't figure out what ROM versions I need to make it run.https://www.7zip.vip/

MAME is very sensitive to having the ROM files matching the version of the emulator, and there's quite a bit of documentation out there describing what ROM sets go with which emulator versions. My understanding is that FBA has a similar requirement, but I can't find any documentation about what version of FBA retropie is currently using, or what ROM set version needs to go with that. https://scrabblewordfinder.vip/ https://www.applock.ooo/

      Thank you!

@quicksilver Not sure you are the author of the comment on reddit, but fbalpha has support for vector games.

@barbudreadmon I wasnt sure if it did or not. Thanks for the clarification. One question, does it offer the same tools for tweaking flicker, beam width etc?

Nope, i didn't know mame had that feature, i just added basic resolution upscaling in core options (a dips called Hi-res mode).

@barbudreadmon I think mame2003+ did a lot of recent work to get vector game quality on par with advmame. Advmame used to be my go to because it looked so much better but mame2003+ looks the same to me now so I switched to it for the convenience of Retroarch.
