I used to use the "logitech" button on the controller as my hotkey.

I recently updated the system, OS - everything. Now the hotkey is dead. Can't be configured in input, etc. 4.4.12 RetroPie.

      Any thoughts? Appreciate the help!

If you test the gamepad from the command line using jstest /dev/input/js0 or evtest, does the button register at all ?

@mitu Nope. Neither command line test shows ANY activity related with that button. So weird.

@darkuni Which position is the 'mode switch' on the controller - X or D ?

@mitu Heh .. I just flipped that. I'm 99.9% sure it was D before, but flipping it to X and it seems to be working now.

              Thanks for the nudge!

I remember a similar post - after the 4.4 image was released - mentioning that DInput behaves differently and switching to XInput made it work.
