    Hello all,

I am having very odd issues with the reicast emulator. Currently, when I try to start a game, I get a black dreamcast logo, and it eventually goes to a CD player looking interface. It does it with all my games.

All my games I carried over from another pie so they work. Same with the BIOS. Speaking of, I have made another pie and that ran dreamcast, so I have been able to do it before.

Also, I downloaded the LR-reicast, and that seems to run my games as they should. Just that emulator is noticeably more choppy than regular reicast.

I've uninstalled reicast twice, installed from binary, installed from source, tried different games and BIOS files just in case, and the best I get is this CD thing.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

I tested a .cdi image for SF3 and it loaded fine - make sure you're using a correct disk image. I used the normal binary package available in RetroPIe.

Yeah, It does it with all my games and they are all CDI's. I did get a GDI just for test purposes and that did not load correctly either. I know that they work because I've used them in another Pi build. And I even got a few new ones to make sure the old ones didn't get corrupted in a transfer, but still nothing works.

Just in case anyone stumbles across this in the future,

I never did get that to work correctly. I ended up wiping my card clean and starting over. This time it all works right, as far as I know, I did everything the same.
