I downloaded the latest build from GitHub from jrassa "Continuous Build released this May 14, 2019". Works great. I figured out some of the weirdness and have a great little setup blooming. I have a question someone may be able to answer:

"Screensaver Behavior" is set to RANDOM VIDEO. Works great.
"Show Game Info On Screensaver" - ALWAYS. Does not work. START & END also do not work.

Is this just because it's a branch?

It's a minor question at best since everything else works great and the skraper from skraper.net is fabulous.

      TIA 😀

A bit vague. Does it cause a temporary black screen? system crash?

On one tv I get a black picture when using "show game info on screensaver" but it works fine on others. I speculate, adding the text forces a change in the video mode which some tv's can't handle.

I get the same back screen on Win10, but I don't think it's related to the TV video-modes (I'm running on a monitor), more likely there is some internal LibVLC error.

OK, so I found why the error happens - LibVLC needs its plugins folder, otherwise it can't create the video (so it shows a blank screen). You can copy the plugins folder from a functioning 32bit VLC install to the same folder with emulationstation.exe (or the folder where emulationstation.exe is started).
Unfortunately this still doesn't make the subtitles appear, or I can't see them :(.

I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner! The information always seems accurate when you're the one typing it! 🤣🤣

The screensaver displays videos just fine - I don't have an issue with black/blank screens. It is the game information it won't display. On my 3B+ I have set "Show Game Info On Screensaver" - ALWAYS and it displays the game name and system. On Windows it does not.

I should also mention that I'm using the Showcase theme on both my 3B+ and Win10.
