      Hi,
I want to avoid (or silent) the "debug mode", the menu that appears after starting a ROM in any system that let you choose the emulator you want for that rom, the custom controls and all that stuff. To get that menu you need to tocuh anybutton when the rom start.

Anyone knows how to make it disappear? Or at least silent it?
I mean, when i start the rom i want to be able to touch any button and dont let the menu appear.

      Thanks for the help

Yes, you can enable or disable this function by going to the RetroPie menu in Emulation Station and choosing the "Run Command Options" (I think it's called).

You can disable the prompt from appearing, disable the joypad from working while booting a rom, and have the image for each game appear on the screen while it loads (if you have a scraped image for that rom).

        Hope this helps.

@Samuman You avoided using the built in settings by editing a file that will get overwritten later?- not sure that is a good idea :)

What you should do is while in the console type:

                sudo bash Retropie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh

Then go to setup / configuration (3rd or 4th option)

Then go to runcommand settings, and in those settings the first option will disable runcommand from appearing. Its new as of 3.5 and its totally awesome.
