Need with with Jrassa"s emulation station
-
I have question and I know this is a retropie form but you all seem like you have the answer when nobody else will answer. After setting up my Windows emulation station from jrassa and got everything configured I was copying over my gamelist.xml for each system since it had all my favorites and also my artwork for the games so I don't have to favorite the games again. After I did that i went into my favorites to start playing and its showing (I'll give a example) Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island (SNES) instead of showing Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island (USA) (Rev1) like it does in the snes folder. Is there a way for my favorites or my Collection folder (because it does it there also) to show the full name of the file?. Some games I have multiple copies of since some games have differences depending on the region and I'd like my favorites folder to show the full file name like the other folders do. I mean I like it showing me what system the game is from. But I'd like it to also show the full file name since it Says what region and revision it is.

@OfficialAzyria I think the Favourite collection should show you the same name as the one in the system, can you post your
gamelist.xml
for the SNES where this fav entry is added ? -
This post is deleted! -
@mitu i don't know how to post it and i'm not able to post a picture.
but here is a link to my picture i took.

i want it to show the Japan or USA. so i know which one i'm picking. because i have some GBA games like Zelda or Super Mario 3 that has both the Wii U version and the non Wii U version. and now i don't know which one i'm picking because it doesn't say it. which i don't understand because i have it as the title like "Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros. 3 (USA) (Wii U Virtual Console)" and it just shows it as "Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros. 3 (GBA) it even did it when i deleted the gamelist.xml from the Virtual Boy and Favorited them again so it shouldn't be because i copied it over from my old raspberry pi

The same thing happens also on a PI, it's the same code anyway. I'm not sure why the name in the collection is different. I thinking because of the system's name that's added to the game in the list, the entry in the collection has been shortened (cleaned).

@mitu thanks i got on last question and i'm wondering if you can help. i wanted to play some pokemon mini titles to try it out but it doesn't seem like Windows emulation station from jrassa has it. is there a way to add it? the roms work when i go into RetroArch and start them up from there. but i'd like to have in emulation station.

@OfficialAzyria You need to add the system to Emulationstation's configuration file -
es_systems.cfg
. See here for how to create a new system, though it's tailored for a Pi system, editing the file accordingly should make it work on Windows. -
@mitu thanks i needed to add Pokemon Mini and Odyssey 2 since that is the only systems that are not in my emulation station but is on RetroArch. i ended up kinda getting my favorites problem solved. i just told it to only show my favorites and it showed the (USA, Japan, ect)
