      Hello i use innext n64 controller at my retropie these are any china controller from amazon.

      In the Retropie menu the controller works perfectly with the button layout. But in the individual N64 games, for example, the a and b keys are reversed. The C buttons do not work at all. Is it possible for the individual games to create their own button layout?

      Then I have a question how the storage works. I read that you should use the keys select and right shoulder. Unfortunately this does not work. For select I took the Z key on the N64 controller.

      best regards

            @BlackDice You didn't give any details about your system, as asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first - what emulator, RetroPie release, etc. Please add the info asked on the page.

                @BlackDice you need to change the z to left bumper. (Or is it left trigger?) the c buttons need to be programmed as the right analog stick directions. The left and down c buttons might be programmed to x and a while n64 a and b are programmed to y and b

                    @BlackDice You can change the mappings in the InputAutoCfg.ini file from the Mupen64 configuration file, switching A and B button codes. See the docs page on the emulator configurations.

                      ok i tried it. This is my config. But it didnt work. my idea for the select Button is to push the eft and right shoulder button at the same time

                      DPad U = hat(0 Up)
                      DPad D = hat(0 Down)
                      DPad L = hat(0 Left)
                      DPad R = hat(0 Right)
                      Start = button(9)
                      Z Trig = button(7)
                      A Button = button(6)
                      B Button = button(8)
                      C Button U = button(0)
                      C Button D = button(2)
                      C Button L = button(3)
                      C Button R = button(1)
                      Y Axis = axis(1-,1+)
                      X Axis = axis(0-,0+)
                      R Trig = button(5)
                      L Trig = button(4)
                      Select = button(4) button(5)
