MAME2010 Controller Not Configured
-
Pi Model: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B
RetroPie Version Used: 3.6.0
USB Devices Connected: Logitech Keyboard and Mouse (Wireless Combo)
Controller Used: USB SNES Controller: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181827518503?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Emulator: MAME2010I have searched around on Google for a bit and have tried changing the input_driver to sdl and the same problem occurs. The Controller works in the RetroArch Menu after configuring it but, when I save the current config and go to play a game, it says that the USB Gamepad is not configured. Is this something I'm missing in the RetroArch setup. In the TAB Menu, the controller is not recognised when rebinding.
Thanks in advance,

Would it be possible to install a program to intercept the input from the USB Controller and convert it into key presses? I did something very similar to this with Adafruit's PiGame but this converted GPIO inputs...
