Switch Theme 3.0 (UPDATED 08/12/18)

I know this may sound dumb, but how do switch to the dark theme?

@Adolfo Re-read the first post - you need to edit the theme.xml file.

@mitu I opened the theme.xml file but don't know what to edit exactly.

@Adolfo where it says "light.xml", change that to say "dark.xml"

@lilbud that's what I tried looking for but I don't find a line that says that. I'm using notepad++ and tried searching for it and didn't find it that way either.

is it possible to choose a background picture instead of just one color?

@Gremko I guess so. You'd have to heavily modify the theme to do so though.

@dugo3number2 is only if Xbox Buttons are set, go with Playstation Buttons, at least for me.

@lilbud No, nothing. @Gremko I will try PS buttons, although I have an Xbox controller.

Update: @Gremko It worked with PS buttons. @lilbud It is just the main menu that is affected.

@dugo3number2 I found the error, it is in the file letters.xml
/opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/themes/switch/settings/letters.xml

replace:
<path> ./../ assets / buttons / Xbox_Buttons_system.svg </ path>

with:
<Path> ./../ assets / buttons / Xbox_Buttons_System.svg </ path>
