I've installed Lr-Flycast and the games work but I'm not getting any sound. I know there was two different emulators previously when it was Reicast but I don't see that anymore.

Sorry if this has been addressed but I've done a bit of digging and was unable to find an answer.

      Thanks for your help! :)

@funkotron77 is your retroarch up to date too? Back when it was lr-reicast, at least, I needed to update Retroarch to get the sound to work. I have not personally changed over to the most recent Lr-flycast though, so if that doesn’t work I am not sure.

@BJRetro Hey there pal. Yes, it is up to date. This is a fresh install from the retropie website and I updated everything in retropie.

Sorry to bump my own thread but I'm really not finding any help anywhere else. It seems like nobody else is experiencing this problem. Does anybody know what I can do to diagnose what could be the problem?

@quicksilver Hi pal, thanks for responding. I'll get that to you once I get home but I literally installed this two weeks ago from a fresh install so I'm guessing it should be the latest version.

@funkotron77 if you didnt update retropie setup first before installing lr-flycast then it can be out of date

@quicksilver my retropie Setup Script says 4.4.14. I’m pretty sure I updated retro pie setup script before I installed flycast

@funkotron77 launch a game. When the game loads, press hotkey+x to launch the retroarch menu. At the bottom it will say what version of retroarch you're using.

@funkotron77 your retroarch is out of date. First update your retropie setup script. Then go to manage packages - core packages and select retroarch. Update retroarch from source then reboot and try running your game again.
