Hello, any guide to update from version 4.4 to 4.5?

@snock It's just a normal upgrade for 4.4 users - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Updating-RetroPie/. If this is the first time you upgrade since your 4.4 installation, I'd advise to take a backup first.

Thanks, I've only had one problem with openmsx. I install it but the executable is not.

          pi@retropie:~ $ log
          Parameters:
          Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/openmsx/bin/openmsx "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/msx2+/Gladius (Germany).zip"
/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh: line 1012: /opt/retropie/emulators/openmsx/bin/openmsx: No such file or directory

@snock Yes, it seems to be a problem with the openmsx package. Can you try installing it from source ?

@mitu I installed it from the source, and that's what it says that it can not find it.

@snock Yes, there's a problem with the scriptmodule - I tested also the installation from source and it fails. The problem is because OpenMSX switched to SDL2 from SDL1 and the dependencies don't match.
Long story short, the scriptmodule will need an update - I'm testing some changes now and I'll try to fix it.

okay I am missing it as well on a clean install

I tried to compile it myself..I got this:

                  Found libraries:
                  ALSA: version 1.1.3
                  GLEW: version unknown
                  libogg: version unknown
                  libpng: version 1.6.28
                  libtheora: version unknown
                  libvorbis: version unknown
                  OpenGL: version 4.5
                  SDL2: version 2.0.8
                  SDL2_ttf: no
                  Tcl: version 8.6.6
                  zlib: version 1.2.8

                  Components overview:
                  Emulation core: no
                  GL renderer: yes
                  Laserdisc: yes
                  ALSA MIDI: yes

not sure EXACTLY which ones I am missing example GLEW..everything is there (-dev package ect.) same with libogg..

People want things easy...but then complain that life is boring...

@akafox That's not an error - what you posted. If you update your RetrPie-setup script now, try re-installing from source, it should install fine.
