Re: Retropie install missing emulators
Hi,
I installed Retropie latest 4.5x Version unter Debian 9.9 with xfce. The install process is described as follows:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt install -y git dialog lsb-release
git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup.git
cd RetroPie-Setup
sudo ./retropie_setup.shafter doing a basic install I try to install some additional emulatos with retropie_setup and I cannot find the uae4arm emulator in setup ? It's not available in additional, optional or experrimental packages. The Retropie Version that is installed on my Raspberry Pi 3b+ has all amiga emulators available. I believe that there is a difference between Debian Retropie Version and Raspberry Pi Version. Not all emulators are available in Debian. Can anyone confirm this ? Is there another way to install the uae4arm emulator rather than over the retropie_setup script ?
Regards

That emulator, as rhe name suggests, is only available for ARM based SBCs, not for PCs. Use fs-uae on a PC.

@shredman I had some problems installing FS-UAE but got it working great in the end. I had to install directly in debian first from https://fs-uae.net/download#debian then follow the instructions in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/18409/guide-getting-emulationstation-to-work-with-fs-uae
Good luck
