All games in the list are shown as (game title) [platform], and I'd like to know if the platform name can be removed. I also checked through the gamelists and there are none for collections, so there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to edit the list. Is there a list in another directory, or is there a setting to change it?

@bananapi761 If you get the latest Emulationstation version, then there's an option to toggle the system/platform name in game collections.

You can install the emulationstation-dev experimental package from the RetroPie-Setup script or wait until a new stable version is released - which will most likely include this feature as well.

@mitu Thanks, this worked, I had to install it from source though.

@bananapi761 the -dev package is always a source install, otherwise the package would not the latest version.
