Retropie boots into command prompt

I went to update some cores and flash some games on my raspberry pi model B but after the Retropie splash screen I get taken to the command prompt with the Retropie logo. This is the first time I've seen this happen and it didn't happen any of the other times. I tried rebooting and had no luck. Something I did notice is that my microSD is 97% full. How can I set my pi to automatically launch EmulationStation?
