Free up space on RetroPie images
-
I guess you are aware and concerned on keeping images to the lowest size, but just in case, here's this: http://raspi.tv/2016/how-to-free-up-some-space-on-your-raspbian-sd-card-remove-wolfram-libreoffice
-
@hiulit you realise RetroPie is built on raspbian lite- which doesn't have those things installed in the first place
-
@herb_fargus Nope, I did not. Sorry. I guess this post can be closed then.

@hiulit there is also an option in the setup script to remove unused raspbian packages and with the latest version of RetroPie you can uninstall the emulators you don't want which can free up more space as well.

@herb_fargus Thanks! But actually it was something for you guys, in case you might need it. Not that I need more space per se. I guess I didn't think it through before posting this topic. Of course you'd be aware of trying to keep image size to the lowest size. My bad ;)

@hiulit well there's always room for improvement ;) we used to have all that stuff included but we removed it a while ago
