I am trying to map my controls for dosbox to use the arcade controls on my arcade instead of having to plug a keyboard in every time. I looked in
/opt/retropie/configs/pc and in /.dosbox and the mapper-SVC file is not in either place. the dosbox-SVC is. I cannot locate the mapper file to make the change. I also tried some commands i found on github to start the mapper and those were not recognized.

      Any ideas would help

      thank you

Please add more info about your system - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
Did you install any of the dosbox or doxbox-sdl2 packages ? The mapper files (dobox-SVN.conf or dosbox-sdl2-SVN.conf) are created automatically when you install it/them and this is where you can add the path to the mapper file.
