Gain Ground Arcade

Has anyone been able to get gain ground to work on retropie? Are there additional bios files needed or is it not compatible?

Yes, if got it running using AdvanceMame.
I did not need a special BIOS, all the System24 are supported by MAME by default. There are some that dont run at full speed, but GainGround does. -
is it under advmame0.94?

I did not know advmame was so good. Never used it till today.
This worked real well as did nitro ball. I wasn't able to get 3 players with mame2003 or fba.
The dipswitch and user controls so easy to input and actually work.
I'm debating whether changing my whole build to advmame lol -
@MISTERHOLLYW00D great choice, i use AdvanceMame and FBNeo (for NeoGeo) and am very satisfied with this combination.
I also like Nitroball 😊, i recommend to play "Gunball" also. That is the japanese Version of Nitroball which is totally different concerning the Level Design 😉
