I just happened to see, looking for something else, that Libretro just updated flycast with vulkan support which they say uses less CPU resources, and other performance enhancements. Just curious - will this development matter at all for the pi series and Dreamcast performance or is it for more powerful computers only? @barbudreadmon figured I would tag you because I believe you work on flycast.

@BJRetro the pi 4 theoretically can support vulkan but it hasn't been developed yet and is probably a ways down the road if at all.

@BJRetro I confirm you'll need a gpu which is vulkan capable (and it's drivers). Currently i don't think there are many SBCs who have vulkan support (probably jetson nano ? maybe odroid N2 ?).
