      Hi All,

im using RPI4 and have started to make a fairly large image with games.
i would like to transfer this image to an SSD drive i have and plug it to a USB3.0 port.
can this be done follwoing this instructions?
      https://jamesachambers.com/raspberry-pi-4-usb-boot-config-guide-for-ssd-flash-drives/
      i failed to do it.

i want to use an SSD i have and dont want to buy a new SD card 255 GB as it would be expensive.
also i want to be able to use other people pre-made images and just put it on an SSD and boot from it.

      thank you.

RPI4 support is preliminary and we don't support 3rd party images.
For instructions on how to use an external USB drive for storing your games - take a look in the Docs.

I did some dirty work and managed to prepare a small uSD image so i can boot to USB and load a 128 GB image.
          thank.
