      Hi,
I recently updated through ssh my retropie from 3.x to 4.0. After first reboot it works well, after second reboot system freezes (i waited 10 min) at Emustation "loading". During freeze ssh works but for example if i run retropie_setup.sh i see its dialog for 1 sec then the script close. Any ideas that i can try to do before formatting the sd card? i have my rpi inside a custom console so it's wolud be annoying to unmount it. thanks

Yeah mine just boots to a white screen after the ES Loading screen? Guess I should go back to the 3.8.1?

What theme ? It might be due to an out of memory situation. Try the solutions for that anyway - https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/themes#white-screen-of-death
