Pifba inverted player 1 axis

So quite a few of my games only run in pifba. However player 1 left/right is inverted. I can't seem to find any information on changing this. Does anyone know how to. Configuration this? It works fine in lr emulators and emulationstation

Open your /opt/retropie/configs/fba/fba2x.cfg and look for this part:

[Joystick]
# Get codes from "jstest /dev/input/js0"
# from package "joystick"

# (BLABLABLA)

#Joystick axis
JA_LR=0
JA_UD=1

permute the zeroes and ones and see if it work as you want.

hmmm yea I originally thought this may work or may even switch left and right for up and down. Seems it has no affect however

@camo200sx are you sure that you're using pifba (and not the libretro fba)?

Yup. Def pifba. Have just popped the control panel to check it's wired correctly. It is, however just as I was puting it back together I noticed I had to rotate the player 1 stick to make it fit! This would make left and right swap and up and down swap. This also explains why the configuration menus outside emulationstation were working this way too. I had just put up with that as it wasn't too much of a pain. Hopefully re-wiring it will solve my problem as I can't mount it the other way
