Retropie not booting into emulation station

Hi everyone, first of all I would like to say thanks to everyone helping me out with this.
For starters, this is my equipment:- Canakit Pi 3B+ starter kit (not overclocked or anything) with original power supply
-512GB Sandisk ultra micro sd card
-400GB VIRTUALMAN-PLAYBOX! v4-4.5.3 RETRO-BLISS-TWEAKED
-8Bitdo SN30 controller
Long story short, I was having a great time playing with the 400GB image from our friend Vman.
Today I decided to expand the filesystem through coniguration tools. Everything seemed to go through with no issues but after I rebooted the system, it gets stuck on the "Playbox by 2Play!" screen instead of the normal emulation station.
I can then type emulationstation in the command line to boot into the normal emulation station interface.
Can anyone help me on how to bypass the command line screen and boot straight into emulation station just the way it was before?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
