Kiosk mode

I have enabled kiosk mode and can't seem to disable it.
After looking through previous threads they've said to do the konami code on the menu and that didn't seem to work for me.
Anyone have a solution to this problem?

is there anyway to edit what ui mode its in over the network?

The file mentioned in the documentation can also be found at \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation. Use Notepad++ (or a recent version of Notepad if you're on Win10) and change the UI mode/button combination.
