Hello, trying to get set up. I'm using a RaspberryPi 3B, 32GB Samsung SD Card. I downloaded the latest image for RetroPie from the site here and flashed it to a the SD card (I tried another card as well). When my Pui boots up, it just goes to the Raspbian desktop though. It shows nothing for RetroPie (no splash screen), no Emulation station, etc. I've looked through the install instructions. Did I miss a set somewhere? Thanks.

@ncarty there's no desktop on our image. Maybe you didn't write it correctly and booted something else you had before? Please provide more information. Which image did you download and how did you write it?

Sorry for the delay in responding. I downloaded the retropie-4.5.1-rpi2_rpi2.img file from this address (linked on the frontpage):
        https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/releases/download/4.5.1/retropie-4.5.1-rpi2_rpi3.img.gz

I tried multiple SD cards, completed deleted all partitions, etc. I used Etcher to write the image. I ended up going with one of the development builds 4.5.18 and that worked fine.

Ok, I just downloaded the official release again. Works fine. I have no idea what was happening before. User error I guess but I know I tried downloading it multiple times.
