What is the MAME ROW?
MAME ROW stands for MAME Random Of the Week. We randomly select an arcade game from the 0.78 MAME Reference Set to play on the week. The idea is to play games we've never played before, interact with other forum members, post hi-scores, share game strategies, fun facts, and (the most important) HAVE FUN!
We will play the winner all next week.

Did Ladybug win yet? XP
I managed to get 11,610 before I found out that I could wait and the letters would be worth more points. I don't have a screenshot, because I can't figure out the function keys on this Bluetooth keyboard. :(

Ms. Pac-Man is cool. It's so classic. Around here it's the arcade cocktail cabinet game.

I'm getting better (12,970), but still nowhere near your score. (How can I shrink the screenshot in my posts without additional software? Are height and width tags available?)
OK, I downloaded the pic and used a Windows application to crop & resize the photo. It'd still be nice to do this either from RA or the forum...hmm.

Thanks @mitu . I used some of your config advice from an unrelated post today and I couldn't find a way to PM/DM you so I'm including this comment. -

15,580 is as far as I'll get this time..
Looks like a win for @mitu ? :)By the way, a little random fun-fact from my weekend. My wife and I played Trivial Pursuit and twice I got "pacman" questions; one was something like "which classic arcadegame inspired labyrinths for mice in laboratories" and the other "what video game had opponents named blinky, inky, pinky and clyde?" :)

Ladybug is cool for requiring no buttons and simply being a strategic maze chase. Jr. Pac-Man is novel for the scrolling screen..

Have you played the Atari 2600 port? A remarkable achievement considering the system constraints.

@victimrlsh I just played some Hyper Pacman (by Semicom) which I thought was only a Pac-Man (by Namco) clone, but I think it's actually cooler. It's Pac-Man, BUT the mazes are much different, you can collect a helmet which allows you to shoot the ghosts (what?), and you get "shoes with wings" that allow you to jump over the ghosts. There's probably more odd pickups, but I just played once and then wrote this. I love oddball stuff. And it's two-player simultaneous! (I thought Pac-Man Arrangement was the only two-player simultaneous arcade Pac-Man game.)

PacMan 2 [sequel by a different Korean company] is a fun bootleg of a bootleg that's only found in the Puzzle King multi-cade). It's just wacky. You're in the topics... with a spreadshot shooting ghosts... as Pac-Man. Odd. Ball. XD
