      I just picked up the pi 4 with 4GB ram, installed retropie and started playing some games, I have experienced games crashing about 10 minutes in(I've being timing them) on n64 games, other consoles games can sometimes manage about 20 minutes before crashing. I attempted some slight over clocking to no change in results what so ever.

        Overclocking will never make your system MORE stable. It only increases the chances of instability. Please post all of your info requested here: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first so that we can better help diagnose your issue.
