What's the best method of adding this? I know there are a few different methods.

Lately I'd been using this method.. https://github.com/Naprosnia/RetroPie_BGM_Player

I chose this mostly because of the menu option in settings... However it doesn't seem to be working on the pi 4...

Does anyone use this and have it working? Or have a better method of adding bgm to the pi?
