Python-pip removed Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
-
Hi All,
RetroPie 4.6 running on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, PC i3
Installing reicast and it errors on the dependencies, managed to install all manually besides python-pip. Looks like this has recently been removed completely from the repos. You can install python2 manually but not pip2.
Any ideas on how to work around this? I can look to try the alt emulator but I’m sure this problem will affect others?

@dewijones94 It will not affect others, since this is actually just for the input configuration script distributed with
reicast
. It did however affectedjoy2key
, but that's been updated when 20.04 came out. Guess we'll have to check and see if thereicast
input configuration script works withpython3

@mitu no problem, I’m working around it with the other emulator for now. I’ve not tested what it’s like but I’m sure I can hold on! Thanks!
