      Hello,

I tried doing an in-place update from 3.7 to 4.0 on my Pi2 (TV) and Pi3 (Bartop) and my controls don't work after, even my wireless keyboard. So I think a fresh image is in order on both. The thing is I'm spent months tweaking them, especially the controls and screen sizes/ratios.

Can I copy over the configs or to I risk messing things up that way?

      Any ideas would be great.

      Thanks

You can copy your config files over the old one, I did that to and it always work. I had a similiar problem with Genesis, the controller did work in menu and in some emulators but not in the Genesis emulator. When I went to check the megadrive/retroach.cfg file I noticed that it had a lot of options and I couldn't change it.

Go see if the retroarch.cfg files of the emulators are fine or not. If they're messed up, just delete it, update the Retropie script, reinstall the emulator. That should work.
