adding a console history section

Hi, im hoping someone can help me out here.
Ive been thinking of adding a console history section to the es menu
im a newbie , but somewhat confident copying/pasting and editing.
I would like to add a console history section in the menu (ie: nes, megadrive, atari, history, retropie) and when u click to enter it will show video snaps that will play the full commercials when scrolling through the consoles and the history of the console in the description area, and when you click on the console name (like clicking on the rom name) it will take you to that consoles game menu.
how can i do this?Ps: im running latest retropie on a 3b+ using carbon theme
