Running (or trying to run) PSP on an RPi 4. I am trying both the lr-PPSSPP and the regular PPSSPP cores. Looking through past threads, it seems most people are recommending PPSSPP. However, the audio is just terrible on all the games I tried. In the past, people are suggesting changing the audio latency in the Audio settings...but that's doesn't seem to be an option in the version that is with Retropie?
Any other suggestions? I've tried the frame skipping and 1:1 settings, etc., it's mostly the audio that just isn't very good.
Thanks for any help.

@Gumdoc would be best if you could provide all the info requested here: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first
Are you using the official RetroPie image?
Also you should update PPSSPP from source. There was recently an update that fixed some audio crackling/popping issues.

Lr-PPSSPP has the best audio settings. Personally I prefer Lr-PPSSPP, YMMV. I would also recommend overclocking your GPU V3D setting as far as it will go.

Its been a week or two since I last updated ppsspp. It was working fine for me last I checked (Ill update and test on my end to see if there has been a regression). Specifically what games are you testing? If they arent running fullspeed you can have audio issues. Can you try resetting your settings to default in the ppsspp menu, perhaps you accidentally changed something there?
