failed to add service - already in use?

Pi Model or other hardware: 4 B (4gb ram)
Power Supply used: official raspberry pi 4 power supply
RetroPie Version Used: v4.6
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
Error messages received: failed to add service - already in use?Flashed a 64gb sandisk sd card with the latest image from the download page but when the pi boots up it shows the retropie logo for a few seconds then opens the terminal with the error message "failed to add service - already in use?". I re-flashed the card but got the same error and I haven't been able to find any helpful posts on the issue. I'm new to the raspberry pi stuff so hopefully this is a simple problem.

@fearedspoon which image did you use? Please provide the filename.
Did you edit anything after writing the image? Eg config.txt or so.

I used "retropie626.img" and made no edits or anything

@fearedspoon that's not an image from this site and may not be for a raspberry pi 4..please download the raspberry pi 4 image from our download page.
