      i just bought a retroflag gpi case and a raspberry pie zero W I hooked everything up installed the screen patch but no mater what i try it will not connect to my 2.4 wifi i tryed the code:

      country=US

      ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/

      wpa_supplicantGROUP=netdev

      update_config=1

      network={

      ssid=" my ssid"

      psk="password"

      key_mgmt=WPA-PSK

      priority=1

      }

      after checking to make shure it was a conf file ext and double and triple checking my ssid and password and failed then i decided to go into my router and open the network with no password at all it still says "unable to connect to network'

      im stuck please help

          You already posted a topic with your problem - there's no need to open another one. Topics merged.

          What version of RetroPie are you using and how did you install it - see the details asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

          Are you sure you're formatting correctly the file ? The way you posted its contents, it doesn't look like it. Try

          country=US
          ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev

          update_config=1

          network={
          ssid=" my ssid"
          psk="password"
          }
