Select button don't work on netplay mode.

hi! Like tittle says, select button dont works on netplay mode. Play Nes online without that button is imposible.
What is the issue? Without netplay, this work.
Working on Retropie 2.x.
Thanks a lot!!! -

Yes, thanks for the hint, i searched that info and no answer. I repeat, my controllers works fine, always, but on netplay, select input dont make nothing.
Is not a problem about mapping or add a gamepad, no. Is a function that dont work.
Thanks again! 😊 -
You didn't read the bit on the link where it talks about providing information - and steps to reproduce (include specific emulators being used etc). It will help us debug it/look into it.

Hi! Ok, i understand, sorry for that, i belived that the problem is not relevant to the level to specify these thing. Sorry again :-(
Pi Model: 2 & 3
RetroPie Version Used: 2.3 updated to 2.8 or 2.9 Maybe in some parts.
Built From: SD Image Retropie 2.3
USB Devices connected: Asus Bluetooth Adapter
Controller used: Ps3 Dualshock, fails too with x360 or any other usb pad.

File: Maybe a retroarch.cfg conflict?

**How to replicate the problem: **
When i play with NetPlay mode enabled with some friend, select button input don't works. ie on SNES, NES, GB,... every retroarch libretro core do that fault. MegaDrive don't use that button, perfect. But in a service that make a multiplayer session... a select input to change the number of players in game is needed.
How to replicate the problem?: If you try a netplay with a 2players game on NES, for example, CONTRA. You can't switch to 2 players, no select button working.
The same with a keyboard.Why i don't Jump to the 3.x branch?
I tried that a few weeks ago, and i only got black screen at most emulators, and the 2.x customized image that i'm using have more stuff and a solid configuration. Retropie 3.6 looks awesome, is awesome sure, but in my case, the results are not enough. I feel more freedom with the old releases, but this is maybe offtopic. Thanks by forward! ;-)

I am not going to be able to help with an older version, so you will need to start from a fresh 3.6 image - you can't go from a wheezy 2.x to the latest Jessie based RetroPie without a lot of messing around - also Wheezy is unsupported now.
Functionality with the select button as a hotkey has changed recently, which may help in this situation.

Ok, anyway, is a good idea to change the hotkey and see the results... If i dont get any results, i will try tomorrow with the 3.6 image the same operation.
Thank You!!!
