Hi, I'm trying to write Retropie to my SanDisk Ultra 32gb micro sd HC I. I just use a Nokia SD adapter. But... something goes wrong and I only get the settings to work when I start my Raspberry Pi 2 model B v1.1. For some reason my sd card goes from 28,7 GB (before writing) to 36,8 Mb / 56,8 Mb (after writing). None of the emulators etc. appear when I launch Raspberry pi. I tried writing with different DiskImager versions but with no luck. I'm new to this, and hoping someone knows these things better than I do. Thanks.

That is normal - windows can only see the boot partition.

Sounds like you are not following the install instructions - https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation as it covers all this.
